OK, so I'm not really good at updating the blog. Vicki did such a nice job with the Body Temple! If you participated in the study in anyway shape or form, please tell us.
I just finished reading our next Chapters book, "Heaven is for Real" by Todd Burpo. It is an easy read and a very good read. It makes you think about...so many things. I'm not going to go into detail about the book because I think everyone should read it.
Jesus loves children. When the disciples told the children to go away, Jesus scolded the disciples and embraced the children saying that we need to have a child-like faith. That makes me think, do we still have a child-like faith or as we get older do we become more jaded and skeptical. What happens to us that we lose our inner child and have a harder time trusting God and a harder time handing God control? Sometimes we try to overthink matters of religon and we do need to mature spiritually. Maybe, sometimes we need to take a step back and look at things with child-like eyes.
Jesus loves me, this I know. For the Bible tells me so. Little Ones to Him belong, they are weak but He is Strong. Yes, Jesus Loves Me. Yes, Jesus Loves Me. Yes, Jesus Loves Me. The Bible tells me so.
